Pat S. Bolin

Chief Executive Officer


Pat S. Bolin, Chief Executive Officer of Eagle Oil & Gas Co., co-founded the company in 1976 with his father, D. Phil Bolin, and business partner, Warren T. Ayres. He is also the company’s former president and chief executive officer. Before joining Eagle, Bolin graduated from Southern Methodist University in 1973 with a B.A. in Psychology and worked at Mitchell Energy Co. as a landman. Bolin is a member of the Salesmanship Club of Dallas and is actively involved in all of the club’s activities and community outreaches. He is also an active member of the Dallas Wildcat Committee, where he has served as chairman, as well as other various leadership roles.

Warren T. Ayres

Executive Vice President


Warren T. Ayres, executive vice president of Eagle Oil & Gas Co., co-founded Eagle in 1976 with D. Phil and Pat S. Bolin. Ayres is a 1971 graduate of Midwestern State University with a BBA in Accounting. Before co-founding Eagle with Phil and Pat Bolin, he worked at Bolin Oil Co., where Ayres began his career as an accountant. Ayres is an active member of the Texas Alliance of Energy Producers, and numerous other community organizations where he has served in various leadership roles.

Garrett M. Godwin

Executive Vice President, Land


Garrett Godwin joined Eagle Oil & Gas Co. in 2017 as vice president of land. Godwin graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BA in History and went to work as an independent landman. In 2011, he co-founded Brown, Godwin & Co., a land brokerage firm, where he worked until joining Eagle. Godwin is a certified professional landman, with practical land experience in various active basins throughout the lower 48. He has been an active member of the American Association of Professional Landmen for over 10 years.

S. Boone Morgan

Executive Vice President, Operations


Boone Morgan joined Eagle Oil & Gas Co. in 2020 after spending most of his career at Pioneer Natural Resources, where he worked in various operations and reservoir engineering roles supporting conventional and unconventional oil fields in the Permian Basin, conventional gas fields in Kansas and the Texas Panhandle, the Barnett Shale Combo Play, and a CBM field in Colorado. During his tenure at Pioneer, Morgan primarily served as an engineering manager with operational oversight and compliance responsibilities for several asset teams, and was integral in multiple closed A&D transactions with a total value of $800 MM. Prior to joining Eagle, he led Pioneer’s Western Asset Team, where he maintained oversight of 3,000+ wells, associated infrastructure, and more than 300 personnel across various basins. Morgan graduated from Texas Tech University in 2007 with a degree in Petroleum Engineering.

Matt Schroeder

Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer


Matt Schroeder joined Eagle Oil & Gas Co. in 2004 as a financial analyst before being promoted to chief financial officer in 2017. Matt graduated from Midwestern State University with a Bachelor's of Business Administration degree in Accounting and with his Masters of Business Administration. He lives in Wichita Falls where he manages the company’s accounting staff. Before joining Eagle, Matt was an accounting software consultant with Catalyst Software Evaluation Centers, an accountant for Rhodes and Schaffner, CPA's and Southwest Securities, Inc., and later general manager for Block Division, Inc. He currently serves on the board of Wichita Falls COPAS and is involved with various other community organizations.

Justin Zukoff

Senior Vice President, Secretary & General Counsel


Prior to joining the company in January of 2010, Mr. Zukoff worked at a law firm where his practice focused primarily on oil, gas, and mineral title examination, including on-the-ground title review and due diligence, as well as other practical aspects of energy transactions. Mr. Zukoff graduated from Texas A&M University in 2005 and earned his JD at Southern Methodist University in 2008. He is a member of the Dallas Bar Association, the Dallas Young Professionals in Energy, and the Dallas Association of Professional Landmen.
