Bill Fairhurst (Vice President of Exploration and Land)

Employed by Eagle since October, 2009.

Bill Fairhurst graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University with a BA in Geology and Business-Management; from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a MS in Geology and from the University of Houston with a MBA concentrating in Finance. Bill began his career as an Exploration Geologist with Marathon Oil Company and worked for Marathon for fifteen years in technical and managerial roles in exploration, development, acquisitions & dispositions including land and engineering roles. For the past fourteen years Bill has had senior management roles with Independent Exploration and Production companies as Manager and Vice President of Land & Exploration and President – Chief Operating Officer. Bill is a Certified Petroleum Geologist, Licensed Professional Geologist, Qualified Reserve Evaluator for the Canadian Securities Administrators and member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists, Society of Petroleum Engineers and Houston Geological Society.

Bill Middleton (Senior Land Manager)

Bill Middleton, received a BBA from the University of Texas at Austin in 1970, majoring in Petroleum Land Management and began his career working for Mobil Oil Corporation in Los Angeles. Since that time, he has worked for several independent oil companies in Oklahoma City, Houston and Dallas including Pitts Oil Company where he served as Vice President of Land the last nine years before joining Eagle.

Russell Smith (Business Development Manager)

Russell B. Smith began his oil and gas career as an Oklahoma landman in 2002. Prior to joining Eagle, in 2006, he founded a landman brokerage, independent leasing, and mineral buying firm that employed over 20 contract landmen with focus on the Fort Worth Basin and Southeast Oklahoma. He has leased and run title in Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, New Mexico, Louisiana and West Virginia. Russell has been involved in many acquisition and divestiture projects in the oil and gas industry including company buyouts, large leasehold purchases and sales, as well as vast mineral estate acquisitions.

Houston Bolin (Staff Landman)

Employed by Eagle since June, 2008

Houston Bolin attended Texas Christian University where he graduated with a degree in Business Marketing in 2008. While attending TCU, he was a three-year letterman on the cross country and track teams. In the fall of 2008, Houston acquired his Petroleum Landman Certification at Texas Christian University’s Petroleum Land Practices Certification Program. Currently, Houston is an active member of the Dallas Association of Petroleum Landmen.
