Bill Fairhurst (Vice President of Exploration)
Employed by Eagle since October, 2009.Bill Fairhurst graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University with a BA in Geology and Business-Management; from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a MS in Geology and from the University of Houston with a MBA concentrating in Finance. Bill began his career as an Exploration Geologist with Marathon Oil Company and worked for Marathon for fifteen years in technical and managerial roles in exploration, development, acquisitions & dispositions including land and engineering roles. For the past fourteen years Bill has had senior management roles with Independent Exploration and Production companies as Manager and Vice President of Land & Exploration and President – Chief Operating Officer. Bill is a Certified Petroleum Geologist, Licensed Professional Geologist, Qualified Reserve Evaluator for the Canadian Securities Administrators and member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists, Society of Petroleum Engineers and Houston Geological Society.
John A. Rhodes (Geological Consultant)
Contracted by Eagle since 2005.John A. Rhodes, graduated from Allegheny College in 1978 with a B.S. degree in geophysics from Pennsylvania State University in 1980. John joined Eagle as a consulting geophysicist in January 2005 and he works independently on his own proprietary projects. He worked as a geophysicist at Mobil until 1995 when he became a Vice President at DeGolyer and MacNaughton. He has worked on projects worldwide, including reserve evaluations, exploration assessments, reservoir characterization studies, property valuations, equity determinations, and data room projects. He has written several professional papers, focusing on intergrated interpretation. John is a recognized expert in the Mesozoic trend of the U.S. Gulf Coast and particularly in seismic facies analysis and carbonate stratigraphy. His paper "Reservoir Property Changes caused by Thermochemical Sulfate Reduction in the Smackover Formation" won the 1994 A.I. Leverson Award from the AAPG and the Best Paper Award at the 1994 GGAGS convention. John is a member of the Society of Exploration Geophysicist and the Dallas Geological Society and is a Licensed Profession Geoscientist.
