Bill Fairhurst (Vice President of Exploration and Land)

Bill Fairhurst graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University with a BA in Geology and Business-Management; from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a MS in Geology and from the University of Houston with a MBA concentrating in Finance. Bill began his career as an Exploration Geologist with Marathon Oil Company and worked for Marathon for fifteen years in technical and managerial roles in exploration, development, acquisitions & dispositions including land and engineering roles. For the past fourteen years Bill has had senior management roles with Independent Exploration and Production companies as Manager and Vice President of Land & Exploration and President – Chief Operating Officer. Bill is a Certified Petroleum Geologist, Licensed Professional Geologist, Qualified Reserve Evaluator for the Canadian Securities Administrators and member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists, Society of Petroleum Engineers and Houston Geological Society.

Frank Reid (Senior Geologist)

Frank Reid graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a BS in Geology and a minor in Mathematics in 1982. He began his career at Plateau Exploration and Production Company in Dallas as a Geologist working the Hugoton Embayment, Anadarko Basin, Hardeman Basin and the Austin Chalk. Frank worked for Megargel Drilling Company/Red Livingstone Inc. as Geologist and later as the General Manager concentrating in North Texas and Southern Oklahoma. In 1990 Frank along with several partners formed Providence Oil Company. Serving as President of Providence Oil Company he generated prospects in Texas and Oklahoma, operated properties in this area as well as provided consulting services to the Industry. Frank is a member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists, Dallas Geological Society, Mississippi Geological Society, Society for Sedimentary Geology and a Certified Petroleum Geologist.

Nick Pieracacos (Geologist)

Nick Pieracacos graduated from the College of Charleston with a BS in Geology; from Eastern Kentucky University with a MS in Geology and from Baylor University with a PhD in Geology. Nick began his career with Texaco Oil as a development geologist where he worked for 2 years. This was followed by a career in education where he taught at the College of Charleston and McLennan Community College in Waco. For the past ten years Nick has worked as a Geotech and Geologist for several independent exploration and production companies in Midland and Dallas. Nick is a Licensed Professional Geoscientist (Texas) and a member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists, West Texas Geological Society, Permian Basin Section of the Society of Economic Paleontologists and Mineralogists (SEPM) and Dallas Geological Society.

Mary Lisbeth ("M.L.") Hanson (Geologist)

Mary Lisbeth Hanson attended the University of Wyoming where she graduated with a BS degree in Geology in 2010. While attending the University of Wyoming, she worked for the Wyoming State Geological Survey and interned with Hanley Petroleum. Currently M.L. is an active member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists and the Dallas Geological Society.

Holly Lortie (Exploration Tech)
